ROB HEATH

Solo

With a voice as warm as a winter fire and a finger picking guitar style Heath sounds exactly like what he is: a song craftsman and a mighty good one at that. Sometimes we forget that craft should be esteemed as highly as art, if not higher. People like Rob Heath remind us. - JS, Maverick Magazine (UK)

Looking beyond the music, because people are drawn into more than just sounds, the lifestyle and philosophy expressed by Rob Heath’s persona is just as appealing as the music itself. We all have things we wish we could say. Rob decided to say them with rich melodies and lyrics delivered in a voice haunting in its simplicity. Rob uses words to paint pictures in the hearts and minds of his audience creating an emotional experience for each person as his music breathes life into every character.

Songwriters in the Round

Format: 3-4 Singer-Songwriters in a round swapping original songs

(Note – there are always different formats BUT Rob Heath is always in the mix)
The intimate “listening room” atmosphere of a ‘songwriters in the round’ performance allows the audience to focus on the song lyrics and melody. Testimonials

Due to first an injury and then COVID, Rob's performance at The Rocky was delayed by three years. But it was well worth the wait!! He's an unassuming, friendly person, but up on stage he's an excellent performer and a creative, thoughtful songwriter. We were all "tuned in" closely to every song, and look forward to seeing him again soon.

The ‘discovery’ of the conference for me was Rob Heath, an artist I was unfamiliar with. An understated performer, Rob puts across his powerfully moving songs, without histrionics, in a pleasing natural tone. The songs can be about very serious stuff, but Rob obviously feels no need for vocal or physical dramatics.

- Steve Dulson, President, FAR-West (Folk Alliance Region - West)

Rob is the perfect performer for a house concert – warm, engaging, and full of stories that he makes relevant to his audience. His great guitar work and unique song style had us in the palm of his hand all evening!

– Rose Brooks, Just Milton Folks

Our audience was thrilled with Rob. He had us laughing and rapt in the very human stories his songs conveyed. The guitar players loved his playing, the songwriters loved his songs, and everyone thought his performance was top-notch.
